Springfield Vermont Simpsons Movie Police Uniform Patch COA 244/250. Condition is New. Shipped with USPS First Class.
6" Diameter. This colorful actual police uniform shoulder patch was created to be worn by police to celebrate the 2007 release of the Simpsons Movie. Only 250 were made for the Law Enforcement of Springfield Vermont " Home of the Simpsons". ( according to the cops they did have a Simpsons family that actually lives in the town and the donuts design was strikingly similar to the pink-frosted donuts eaten by Homer Simpson on the show.) Leave it to the police to use every loop hole in the book with this amazing movie tie-in. If you look closely to the sprinkles, you will find the date 7-27-07 which coincides with the release of the Simpsons Movie.  On the back of this patch is a COA describing the patch and its use. Over the years, I've sold these at comic conventions for each after buying up the remainders from the Springfield Police. This is my last one. If you are a super fan completest, you'll need this for your Simpsons cartoon collection. Make Chief Wiggum proud and your friends jealous. If you don't buy this one, then prepare to say, "DOH!"
