Large antique china doll (6 sew hole) flat top brunette shoulderhead excellent

his large,
measuring 6 inches tall
,
c.1880
, antique china shoulderhead, (only) doll head (will make about a 22" or larger doll) with nice shoulders and deeply molded, flat top brunette hairstyle with center part and covering her ears will make an impressive size doll when attached to a cloth or cloth and leather stuffed body. She is identical to her twin sister (pictured together,
she is on the left
for comparison, other doll is sold) and has
pretty blue painted eyes
,
with high lights, double eyelid lines, red nostril marks, very pretty (heart-shaped) mouth with lip dividing line and beautifully molded and painted lips and cheek blush in addition to
well molded and painted
, "flat top" styled, brunette hair with thin white center part and thirteen, thick sausage curls around her head (white spot in photo is from the camera flash and not on her head). She has deep and wide sloping shoulders (measuring 5" across) with 6 sew holes to attach to a cloth body. She was made in Germany possibly by Hertwig & Co. Distributed by
Butler Bros., N.Y.
and is in excellent condition just a few light rubs to her curls as shown. Other dolls in last photos are
not included
and each is listed separately.
