Antique Early 1900's India Persian Bulova Axe Ceremonial Axe

I was just informed that this was
probably a ceremonial piece early 1900s. It is an India Persian Bulova axe
.
The blade has a decoration on it and
measures 9 1/2" long from end to end and from the back of the wood handle it measures 5 1/4". The total length is approx. 21".
The blade is not real tight on the handle and is not sharp.
A very intriguing piece if you ask me. I have no history about it other than it was purchased from an auction in Ladson, South Carolina.
